About the role:
This role will assist in financial modeling and reporting for eHealth and Sonic Boom products, as well as recurring reporting of enterprise financial results and ad hoc analyses.
Creates and maintains ongoing budgets and forecasts for eHealth and Sonic Boom products
Assists in production of monthly and quarterly reporting to internal and external parties
Builds pro forma models for new products or investments under consideration
Partners with Finance, Operations, Strategy, and Sales teams, among others, to acquire data points needed for accurate forecasting
Prepares complex financial analyses in summarized, visual format for executive team and board
Ensures consistency and accuracy of financial and operational data for both internal and external parties
Maintains various databases and dashboards of both company and industry trends and data points
Identifies trends, opportunities, and risks proactively with frequent reporting to leadership team
Develops fluency of Prophix to forecast and report summary results
Assists with ad hoc projects as needed for Manager, FP&A and AVP, FP&A
Job Requirements: Education:
Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Accounting, or related field
2+ years in healthcare or financial industry, health finance experience preferred
Experience in building and executing financial models with large data sets
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong data visualization reporting capabilities, including waterfall growth bridges and multi-tiered bar charts
Thorough Excel experience using IF/SUMIF/VLOOKUP to consolidate large data sets into meaningful reporting
Previous experience with Prophix preferred
Highly motivated and organized with ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Adaptability to change project scopes as needed
Competency of core financial statements
Effective communication and presentation skills
