The Director of Business Development will lead efforts to identify and oversee the development, implementation, and sustainment of strategies to grow and differentiate YVFWC as a leader in healthcare third party services. These strategies may include developing business opportunities and partnerships and creating innovative business models and programs. This highly visible role will work collaboratively across the enterprise and externally to enhance the reach of YVFWC. This resource is key to formulating strategies for the long term and influencing others to embrace a broader vision of possibilities in the organization beyond what has already been established.

Qualifications for this position:
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field. Four years of additional experience may be substituted for the required education.
Preferred Education: Master's degree.
Required Experience: Five years of experience in developing business and partnerships in healthcare; experience in successful acquisition of business specific to healthcare industry; successful sales of products/services; and experience managing department/organizational budgets; two years' experience supervising staff.
Preferred Experience: Experience in a Clinical/Healthcare setting.
Professional Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Current WA state driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required or Preferred:
Working knowledge of FQHC, HRSA CHC/MHC Program Requirements, PCMH, and State/Federal laws governing health centers and 501c3 requirements for federal funded agencies preferred.

We serve more than 181,000 patients across 25 medical clinics, 14 dental clinics, 10 pharmacies, and 64 program sites in two states. With integrated services including medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, primary care nutritional counseling, autism screening, and primary care behavioral health, YVFWC's patient-centered model of care offers patients the full spectrum of care and shelter assistance, energy assistance, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling and testing, home visits, and four mobile medical/dental clinics.
