The Assistant Director for Employer Relations and Outcomes plays a key role in the success of the Office of Career Development and Public Service (CDO), providing high-level support to the Assistant Dean for Career Development and Public Service. This individual conducts research, analyzes and distills information regarding legal employment trends, conducts employer outreach and marketing, and manages the CDO budget. The Assistant Director serves as a key ambassador for the CDO and law school with employers in all sectors. The Assistant Director is responsible for all On- and Off-Campus Recruitment Programs, and the Mock Interview Program. The Assistant Director liaises with law school faculty and senior administrators. The Assistant Director is responsible for conducting student and graduate employment surveys, as well as analyzing and presenting the results for these for internal and external reporting. The Assistant Director manages the First Year Student Career Conference and oversees the planning for the office programming. Finally, the Assistant Director also trains and supervises the CDO program coordinators.
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred.
Three to five years experience in legal recruiting or a related field.
Strong analytical and data management skills required, familiarity/proficiency with Excel and 12Twenty preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills required.
Strong financial management skills, and attention to detail, also required.
