Looking for both our Venice California office and Basalt Colorado.
Experience in Autocad Revit Required. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and 3-D Rendering (Revit, Sketchup, Rhino, V-Ray and/or 3DS Max)
Ability to design through an iterative process. Experience and interest in Architectural Details.Experience in Construction Management.

POSITION WITHIN THE TEAM
A project Manager produces design and production documents and is expected to provide knowledgeable input on a range of project elements. The Employee must demonstrate an understanding of the construction industry and have a developing discernment of exemplary architectural design and an appropriate level of documentation. They must demonstrate the ability to produce portions of the work (design sketches and graphics, construction documents and details, etc.) with sufficient competence to assume direct responsibility for accuracy and quality. The candidate must interact effectively with the project team and be able to generate visual and functional design. Limited client contact is anticipated. The PM will set their own personal goals and request tasks to broaden their experience.

* Creation of renderings, walk-throughs, and other presentation materials
* Development of elevations, sections, details, and schedules
* Coordination of work with engineers and other consultants
* Construction phase responsibilities, including submittal and RFI reviews and site visits
* Quality Assurance
* Develop technical specifications for sustainability goals
* Sustainability administration – duties for both design and construction contracts spanning from credit inception through documentation, including reports, tracking updates and submittals.

* 4-7 years of applied professional work experience
* An NAAB accredited professional degree in architecture
* An understanding of how to put a full set of documents together
* Exceptionally strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills
* Extensive experience with consultant management and coordination between scopes
* Extensive detailing experience
* REVIT literacy is required
* Fluent in Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and both hand and digital sketching and rendering techniques
* Working technical knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures

Cristof Eigelberger is the Principal Architect of EAD and is currently a licensed Architect in California, Florida and Colorado. He has reciprocity in all 50 states with the ARE and NCARB Certification.
Having split his time growing up between the mountains of Colorado and the oceans in California and Florida, Cristof has a broad experience with aesthetic, proportions and building technology based on the unique environments and vernaculars. He is an avid skier, bicycle rider and waterman spending his days away from the office outside with his family and traveling throughout the world.
Prior to starting his own firm, Cristof Eigelberger was an Associate Architect at Backen, Gillam, & Kroeger, an Architectural Digest AD50 architecture firm. He designed at the firm for fifteen years and dealt with multiple projects nationally and internationally. Cristof worked extensively with the renowned California architects Howard Backen, Jim Gillam, Loren Koeger and John Taft. Cristof’s work for the firm included a wide range of resorts, wineries and residences. A few of the commercial projects included works for Solage Resort and Spa an Auberge Property, Poetry Inn, Cliff Lede Winery, Bodega Garzon Winery in Uruguay, Benovia Winery in Sonoma, HTO Wines and Paul Hobbs Winery.
Cristof graduated from Rhode Island School Of Design with a BFA, BArch and participated in the RISD European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. He has worked with AD100 Architecture firms in Palm Beach, New York City and Italy as well as owned a development company specializing in high-end residential projects in Hawaii prior to coming to California and Colorado.
