What you will do Change the healthcare world by creating life-saving software. As a Software Engineer at Stryker, you'll help us make life-saving devices through your expertise in all things related to software development.
In your role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of new and exciting software development including designing, testing, debugging and implementing operating systems components, software tools and utilities. Partnering with a variety of coworkers at Stryker, you'll translate market needs into quality software implementation. We'll trust you to ensure our products are world-class, whether that comes from your contributions to the Design Review meetings or through ensuring all Regulatory and Safety Requirements are applied to product designs and Company Quality Procedures. Creating innovative medical devices and supporting existing products, your hands-on approach to building world-class technology will save lives.

What you need
2+ years' experience of software development within a team
Proficiency in designing software to control hardware devices and interfaces.
Strong technical/report writing skills
Experience of ARM Processors
Experience of embedded software development
Ability to prototype and bench test designs
Proficiency in writing device drivers from scratch or debugging/enhancing device drivers on an embedded processor
Knowledge of C and/or C++ and/or C#
Knowledge of Windows software development
Experience with and knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office
Level 6 Degree or higher in:
Software Engineering with Electronic/Electrical Engineering,
Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
