The Application Developer (Advanced Analytics) II shall be responsible for:
Participating in all phases of the development process from analyzing requests through design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of machine learning and artificial intelligence models in the context of the hospital's clinical, financial and administrative systems.
Working with our internal business partners to determine the best information to gather from our data assets to support analytics needs
Analyze and optimize partner data scientist's approach to advanced analytics
Facilitate integration of model output into existing or new visualizations to support improving business processes.
To qualify, you must have:
Knowledge typically acquired with a degree in Statistics/Computer Science or a closely related field or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts of Enterprise Analytics, Reporting and Dashboard development preferably in a health care provider setting.
Proven ability to write and interpret SQL, Python, and/or R coding.
Experience with statistical approaches to support advanced analytics using Python, R, SPSS, or SAS.
Experience with data extraction from a data warehouse or manipulation of large complex data sets.
Understanding of data visualization best practices using tools such as MicroStrategy or other related Business Intelligence reporting and visualization software.
Understanding of AutoML tools such as DataRobot or similar tools.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Comfortable working in a team-based matrix structure.
Attention to detail and superior listening skills.
