The IT Business Analyst III will be responsible for:
Gathering functional requirements for software systems and generates applicable documentation including Project Charters, Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and use cases.
Performing feasibility analysis of requested IT initiatives in conjunction with the Project Management Office.
Interacting with hospital end user groups and conducting analysis sessions. Implements innovative workflow analysis and requirement gathering techniques to capture precise specifications from dynamic end user groups.
Creating wire frames, screen mockups and semi-functional prototypes to assist end users in designing systems and evaluating various proposed solution designs.
Working in collaboration with Quality Assurance group to come up with appropriate test plans, test case and requirement coverage matrices.
Leading other tasks and projects, as requested, including procedural documentation, participation in quality and operational improvement processes and participating in general IT innovation initiatives.
Participating in Information Analysis, Data Analysis as well as Object Oriented Analysis and Object Oriented Design in collaboration with IT resources.
Providing support to end users and participates in the respective team's support Procedures on a 24 x 7 basis.
Mentoring other IT analyst and gainfully participates in the career growth of IT analyst.
In order to qualify you must have:
Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Human Factors or a closely related computer or business analyst field and four to five year's experience.
A Master's degree in an Information Technology (MSIT) or related field is helpful.
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarizes the information and data in order to solve problems OR design relatively complex systems and programs that cross departmental / divisional lines.
