To provide overall supervision of the Agency’s Research, Development and Planning Division (RD&P) and new agency initiatives during their 1st year of operation. Responsible for funding and refunding applications and project management. Responsible for the development, reporting, and analysis of agency wide activities.
Overall responsibility for funding/refunding applications and budget development for the Agency, ensuring grants are submitted on time and within guidelines. Develops strategies and new approaches to include agency business development activities, case management software upgrades, and expansion plans. Supervises New Initiatives for the first year; monitors for compliance with contract specifications. Ensures smooth transition into the Agency, in compliance with policies and procedures. Overall responsibility for the gathering of data, analysis, and reporting of agency wide activities including outcomes and objectives. Overall responsibility for the gathering and submission of documentation of agency standards of excellence across nine operational domains. Supervises programs assigned to RD&P by the President/CEO. Provides supervision to the RD&P staff; overall accountability for proposal contents and timeliness. Directs and reviews the in-house evaluation process, to reach program goals and objectives. Collaborates with Management Team members to identify program goals and community needs; conceptualizes ideas. Represents the Agency at various meetings and events, fulfilling a community relation’s role. Provides positive reinforcement of Agency programs and activities. Provides technical assistance to programs, as requested, to maintain program success. Other duties as assigned.
Master’s Degree in Urban Planning or other relevant Human Services field or experience in lieu of 5 –7 years in a responsible administrative position and demonstrated writing ability. Grantmanship, program/budget development, fundraising, evaluation experience, supervisory experience and program management. Has high level of decision-making latitude with final approval of President/CEO and Board of Directors. Has formal authority on determining program eligibility, policy and procedure development and development of new programming. CT Drivers License / insurance /own transportation.
