e2L is a dynamic, fast-paced educational services growth stage company known for its culture of collaboration and innovation, and we are looking for a top-notch Senior Financial Analyst to be part of our great team. We have experienced rapid growth and now serve clients across many states, having served over 225 school districts over the last ten years. This growth has created an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key player in building out the FP&A practices in the areas of annual planning, monthly forecasting, sales pipeline and revenue analysis, product line analysis, key leading indicators, operational drivers and metrics, cash forecasting and M&A related analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will have the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and Controller as well as leadership across the Company.
Be a major contributor in the annual planning and monthly forecasting processes
Support the development, reporting and benchmarking of key corporate operational metrics in weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences
Work with the team to streamline the Company’s revenue forecasting, product profitability and client profitability reporting
Provide analysis and insights into variances between actual and expected results
Create, maintain and provide visibility for key performance metrics
Spear-head recurring analysis of revenue, profitability, sales pipeline and capacity
Identify areas for business improvement by producing data-driven analysis with linkage to causality
Play a key role in the improvement and/or upgrade of various business systems
Support the CFO and Controller in M&A efforts during due diligence and post-deal business integration
Assess and recommend improvements to data infrastructure that will enhance FP&A collaboration and data visibility across the business
Be the go-to player for ad-hoc analyses, financial modeling, and special projects as needed

This is a remote full-time, exempt position.

Skills and Qualifications
4+ years relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis preferred, with strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
Ability to work with large amounts of data and to translate results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving business performance
Demonstrated ability to synthesize financials and KPIs in simple business terms and turn conclusions into actionable stories
Strong business acumen, with a demonstrated ability to understand and analyze key performance drivers, draw conclusions, and recommend course of action
Proficient in creating and maintaining financial models including financial statement models
Track record of taking initiative and delivering results
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
