The Financial Business Systems Analyst I will be responsible to:
Assist in the maintenance and administration of financial systems in partnership with internal resources. Support business process and technology. Test assumptions and data.
Support financial business information systems team in performing system testing, system implementations, business process improvements, system upgrades, system optimizations, production activities and end user engagement improvement initiatives.
Provide support to finance staff on defining and documenting system processes, data flow, controls and interfaces for financial information systems. Provide analytical and technical support to team members and end users.
Gather and analyze customer requirements. Draft clear and concise functional design documentation and testing plans and scripts.
Run reports or queries, application-based financial models, financial analyses, management reports and presentation materials for departmental and senior management.
Support the FBIS Systems Analyst in performing preliminary analyses of hospital data in order to facilitate the preparation of month end reporting information in accordance with accounting principles, financial management requirements using technical skills
Write initial drafts of documentation for new and existing processes, programs, applications and workflow.
Serve as the first contact between ISD and the end user community pertaining to production issues, training issues, or changes related to system enhancements. Conduct analysis to determine root cause and resolution of issues. Guide end users through diagnostic procedures in order to resolve issues. Work with technical teams and coordinates the resolution of problems. Escalate issues and propose changes to supervisor
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Business/Information Technology or related field required. Related internship or business system analytics experience is preferred
Analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses and summarize the information and data
This is a hybrid/remote position and requires to live in MA, NH or RI
