Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking an individual for the position of Computational Science Developer I. This position would require an individual to work under the direct supervision of a faculty member, postdoc, graduate student or Scientific Informatics Manager to develop software, databases, and database schemas for scientific research. The candidate will be working on designing computational pipeline related to our work on genome assembly and interpretation of single cell data.
Essential Duties Summary:
This position requires a working knowledge of one or more programming languages and software development techniques including, but not limited to, source code management systems, system build systems, requirements analysis, regression testing and bug tracking.
