Are you looking for a unique opportunity to join a successful Real Estate company? The person in this role will be responsible for managing AMLI's electronic purchasing system and will support nationwide product/service sourcing initiatives to maximize value for the company and provide product consistency. The right candidate is a critical thinker who can proactively identify potential issues and collaborates well with the company's various departments.
Manage all aspects of electronic catalog and purchasing system, including vendor on-boarding, catalog changes, turn services, and non-catalog requests.
Facilitate training for all end users of purchasing system.
Analyze operational spending and recommend strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses.
Conduct vendor evaluation and provide guidance on vendor selection and evaluation.
Maintain ongoing business relationships and act as AMLI liaison with contracted vendors.
Provide outstanding customer service to AMLI community teams.
Assess the impact of various new technologies, controls, reports and processes, assisting with special projects as needed.
Some travel required, up to 15%.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS required with a concentration in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred. One to two years of experience in Procurement is preferred. Other expertise desired:
