The Associate Underwriter training program will begin in January, 2022. Commercial Lines Underwriting is the largest of four underwriting divisions in the company—come work for the engine that helps make SECURA great! Rather than focusing on a specific segment or industry, Commercial Lines will expose you to a broad set of learning opportunities—as an example we insure Contractors, Golf Courses, Restaurants, Manufacturers, Transportation, and Hospitality. With growth rates approaching double digits continuously over the last few years, there’s no shortage of room for growth in your career. Our flexible work environment and culture ensures that you’ll still be able to passionately pursue your favorite hobbies outside of work, too.

Our associates, your advocate
Each SECURA associate strives for one thing – to fulfill the needs of our customers. The relationships we build and the trust that forms guarantees a foundation for success.
This mindset is engrained into the culture at SECURA – from working with our independent agency partners, to helping our customers navigate the process to become whole again after a loss.
When you pick up the phone to call, send a letter, or email us, you can be sure that a knowledgeable expert with a genuine smile is ready to work with you.
A culture of inclusivity
When we lift up everyone, we become one. In 2017, the Diversity & Inclusion team was developed by six dedicated associates with a mission and vision to promote awareness and influence continuous change towards a more diverse and inclusive culture in order to be a welcoming organization to our agents, policyholders, communities, and each other. Since its formation, the team has held several educational events, including partnering with local agencies to deliver unconscious bias training and facilitate diversity conversations.
We continue to network with organizations that champion diversity and inclusion. SECURA has joined the local Fox Cities Diversity Officers Collaborative and has started a Black Ally Resource Group that meets monthly and encourages all associates to participate.
