The University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), Dean's Office in the School of Medicine has an exciting opportunity for an APT Program Administrative Analyst (2 positions) to work within its busy Office of Academic Administration.

Essential Functions:
Review and process faculty and fellow appointments.
Maintain and prepare reports (periodic and ad hoc) from databases and Excel logs.
Accurately enter faculty and fellow records based on complex rules
Identify and assist in the development and implementation of future process changes. Applies knowledge of APT processes to address and improve organization-specific needs and operations; assists in modifying functional designs to enhance functionality of reporting and tracking.
Draft and edit correspondence.
Participate in updating the office website.
Effectively interact with senior management, faculty and departmental staff.
Assist in the support of school committees.
Provide support and advice to customers regarding faculty appointment processes and faculty/fellow salary administration procedures.
Prepare reports related to faculty appointments.
Attend to confidential matters of employment, credentialing, payroll and records management processes.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
Preferred: Experience in health care environment or in higher education with a focus on appointment, promotion, and tenure processes is preferred.
Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education.
