Responsibilities:
As a member of the Division of Student Affairs, the IT Coordinator/Technical Business Analyst is responsible for diagnosing, resolving and follow-through on complex IT-related issues; determining the impact of proposed solutions; project management during implementation of proposed solutions; development and implementation of data reporting and analytics using the REX Data Warehouse; assisting in the maintenance of legacy websites and interfaces; providing content technical support for RiseVision; process and data improvement utilizing CollegeNet 25Live Web Services and Interactive Reports; providing support for divisional video conferencing events; and performing other duties as assigned.
Additional responsibilities include:
Maintaining confidentiality as outlined by FERPA and university policies
Developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Pyramid Analytics BI Office and other reporting tools
Providing maintenance for distributed database applications including third-party software packages (i.e. CollegeNet, DocuSign, Point and Click)
Serving as a consultant for the procurement of software and or technology services
Working in partnership with DoIT and the Manager of Student Affairs IT to ensure all acquired software and technology services meets campus security guidelines and expectations
Maintaining Student Affairs Inventory Control process to ensure compliance with university policy
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Two years of related experience, including systems analysis, programming and database management
Skill to analytically design program logic or solve technical problems
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to work effectively with clients and provide guidance and instruction to others
Proficient in SQL (preferably MSSQL) and Visual Studio 2010 for SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development
Ability to perform duties, working in a highly collaborative environment and individually, with moderate to low supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years experience working with Web Services [REST/SOAP], project management and systems implementation
