This role is responsible for managing regional goals and a team of Network Development Specialists that actively recruit dentists for MetLife's Dental Networks to ensure continued growth for all dental products. The individual will join a team of experienced professionals within Americas/Group, Benefits/Dental and Vision Network Development. Group Benefits is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and management of MetLife's industry leading U.S. employee benefits. The success of our Network team has direct impact on earnings and revenue as network growth leads to greater sales opportunity, which helps Group Benefits achieve its goals and further position our company as a leader. Must have strong leadership skills and extensive experience managing and developing staff. Sales support and partnerships are required on a regular and on an as needed basis to support existing and prospective customers as it pertains to dental network development. Knowledge of area fee calculation process as well as experience with fee negotiations with area dentists and internal financial partners is necessary. Strategic planning and project management skills required to assess, develop, and implement marketing plans in region.

Responsible for process improvement, coaching/counseling, and day to day management.
Manages, establishes, encourages, and builds strong business relationships with partners.
Support dental product initiatives by working with product / partners whether directly or indirectly supporting network development.
Drives accountability of his or her team by managing and monitoring key metrics and business outcomes across teams.
Management of large dental groups (dental service organizations).
Manage performance guarantees in assigned region.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
5+ yrs. relevant business experience/3-5 years people management/leadership experience
Proficient with Excel, CRM and all MS Office products
Extensive experience managing and developing staff
Demonstrated multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills are a must.
