The book of accounts you will be supporting are in the insurance segment and are high-performing accounts that expect top-notch customer service. You will be a part of the global Primary team dedicated to providing high quality client experiences through a self-disruptive mindset and collaborative pod structure.

Responsibilities:
- Proactive outreach to assigned accounts to ensure client satisfaction through thorough understanding of customers' workflow
- Discuss current service use case
- Assess clients' needs for existing and new opportunities; building pipeline, improving retention and being a closer for your book of business.
- Ability to excel in a matrixed environment by coordinating with Prospecting, Customer Success, and Marketing to promote book of business growth
- Provide client training through a variety of channels
- Contact clients and users to drive product adoption
- Act as point person for timely client resolution when engaging cross-functional department across MI organization and provide feedback to product management
- Document all client interactions and actively coordinate outreach efforts with thoughtful use of CRM tool
- Demonstrate ability to communicate MI's value subscription pricing effectively and clearly
- Maintain and grow industry knowledge by attending webinars and other topical trainings
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience and a consistent record in consultative sales.
- Strong communication, organization, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Analytical capabilities in the areas of credit risk, financial modeling and valuation analysis is desirable.
- Confidence in cold calling and dealing with C-Level executives over the phone and in person.
- Must have experience holding retention and upsell quota.
- Strong MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills are required, and any knowledge of CRM databases (such as Salesforce.com) would be advantageous
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing a book of business within a similar Capital Markets Field
- Goal and action orientated, with ability to work towards revenue targets within a team oriented and matrixed environment.
- Experience in dealing with challenging situations, i.e. objection handling, overcoming gatekeepers etc.
- Solid organization, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to engage a senior level audience
- Adapting to changing technology and familiarity with CRM-software (like Salesforce.com), SalesLoft, etc.
- Team player with curious attitude, willing to learn, share, and disrupt with goal of increasing productivity.
C ompensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $60k to $70 k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
