This is an exciting opportunity to play a leadership role in building an internal OD consulting practice. The Associate Director of Organization Development will play a key role in establishing a reliable process for evaluating and responding to consultation requests from client organizations. Where appropriate, they will partner with HR Business Partners to deliver consulting work, and develop the capabilities of Business Partners as well as members of the OD team. The incumbent will also serve as lead consultant on several institutional initiatives. The work arrangement for this role is HYBRID.
You will:
Serve as primary contact on, and lead teams engaged in, high-profile organization development projects and initiatives.
Develop capabilities of dedicated OD consultants, as well as HR Business Partners and other HR colleagues (e.g., Enterprise Change Management, Mobility/EDI) contributing to OD engagements.
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve:
processes for project intake, tracking, and evaluation
resource library for client self service and HRBP-led OD engagements.
In partnership with Talent & Organization Development managers and leaders, and those from other HR departments:
Review needs for organization development support and identify trends
design programs to respond to and/or anticipate needs
evaluate the effectiveness of these programs
Contribute to the design and execution of the semiannual organizational survey strategy and manage execution
Ensure execution and continuous improvement of performance management process
You have:
7-10 years in an OD-related role. Ten or more years experience will be considered in lieu of an advanced degree in OD or a related field.
At least five years internal experience. Health care or academic organizational experience preferred, especially if in more than one organization.
At least three years with primary responsibility for leadership and management of key initiatives.
Some supervision or development of OD-related capabilities preferred.
Expert knowledge of OD consulting processes and related methods (including methods related to leadership. coaching/advising, team/inter-team dynamics diagnosis and intervention, conflict management, change management, team alignment and performance support, training and education).
Client relationship management at senior levels.
Organizational savvy, ability to navigate successfully and diplomatically in complex organizational environments.
