Merkle is seeking a Senior Software QA Analyst. In this role you will help implement and ensure high-level quality standards for project deliverables/implementations across the entirety of the organization's offerings.
The preferred candidate has experience working on software development projects and is comfortable working independently within multiple high-functioning development teams. With your AEM QA experience, you will be responsible for helping validate the development, using functional specifications, business requirements and your "test to break" experience, of AEM web solutions.
Test across multiple CMS platforms and Merkle practices
Troubleshoot defects, using web protocol tools, to identify root cause
Documentation of defects and troubleshooting findings
Coordinate software testing process activities, and implement testing best practices
Communicate effectively with business units, development teams, clients, and project management to facilitate and ensure functionality of unique accounts
Develop, design, and implement test requirements, test schedules, test cases, test plans, test tools, and test scripts including, but not limited to Functional, Regression, Security and Performance testing
Validate production code releases
Attend internal and external project meetings to understand client requirements and contribute to project definition, as necessary
Prioritize testing based on risk and business deadlines
Assess situations and quickly identify solutions
Coach and mentor junior QA colleagues
Assess and understand business requirements
Validate business requirements against the implementation through comprehensive testing
Produce client deliverables such as detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts and test reports any other assets described in the SOW
Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction
Acting as an Agile tester, flexible to play multiple roles in the team
Share knowledge with the team through training, documents, etc.
Flexibility to learn new technologies as required by project
Independently manage assigned tasks
Bachelor's degree preferred
2-3 years CMS QA experience on Sitecore or AEM required
3-5 years of full testing lifecycle experience to include system software testing, developing test cases and detailed test scripts, planning, and executing test activities
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as an aptitude to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
Some automation experience preferred
Software testing experience in an Agile development environment
Ability to work quickly with attention to detail
Proven experience with risk assessment identification and communication along with providing recommendations for reducing risk exposure
Ability to operate comfortably in a multi-priority and multiple project environment
A diverse background that includes experience in both IT Consulting and Marketing Agency
Ability to balance priorities and work cooperatively with cross functional teams

Experience in one or more of the additional following platforms: Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento, Salesforce Service Cloud, Drupal
Cross-browser testing experience
Knowledge of test simulation tools a plus
Knowledge of SQL

For individuals assigned to and/or hired in Colorado, the anticipated salary range for this position is $60K - $73K, which is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other job-related qualifications. Pay ranges in locations other than Colorado may differ based on labor market wage rates in those locations.
