BranchPattern is a leading building science firm and one of the largest providers of commissioning and green building consulting in the U.S. We work with Universities, Hospitals, Developers, Airports, and Public Agencies throughout the United States.
Our Pittsburgh office is looking for a dynamic and experienced Commissioning Authority who will join our team and focus primarily on work in the Science & Research sector with clients that are most often universities, health care systems, and private developers. These projects are complex environments including labs, cleanrooms, and other critical environments. High-quality commissioning is a critical part of what makes these projects successful and allows our clients to recruit and retain researchers and faculty. The ideal candidate is a strong advocate for an independent, third-party commissioning process, and has the mindset for acting as an owner's quality advocate throughout the project.
This is a Team Lead role, requiring somebody capable of steering the commissioning process as the Commissioning Authority (CxA) from interview to closeout. To execute this successfully, the candidate has access to a team of subject matter experts ranging including commissioning technicians, indoor environmental quality testing agents, and skilled project managers. In addition to leading projects, this role will be a technical mentor for team members. BranchPattern has established itself as a leader in the building science services in the region, and this position will work closely with the Managing Principal of our region to take our impact to the next level.
If you are a successful Commissioning Authority looking for an opportunity to grow yourself, mentor others, and join a progressive building science team then we have your next challenge. This person will work directly with the firm's Principals to implement the Total Building Commissioning process to assure quality building performance. The right candidates will have a passion for sustainability and strong experience with architectural engineering principals.
