Job Description Summary:
Under minimum supervision, assumes lead roles in medium revenue threshold projects.
Key contributor to analyze business problems of up to medium complexity.
Generates computer aided quantitative and statistical business analysis by leveraging advanced tools and scientific modeling approaches related to customer analytics, market analysis and forecasting in support of the organization's global strategies.
Assists in synthesizing analytical views from various business dimensions in support of business decisions based on business plans, actual or forecast enterprise performance, products, channels, automation types, industry, competition, market and customer segments.
Determines go-to-market tactics related to specific target customers, markets and products in term of marketing communication and sales calls.
Typically works in tandem with peers from other groups.
Independently attends cross-functional meetings and discussions to understand analytical requirements across enterprise business functions.
Mentors and trains professionals in less senior positions within the team on quantitative data analysis. Provides updates and reports to upper management (typically within the department).
Master's Degree in business, mathematics, economics, computer science or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research.
Two (2) years work experience in business, mathematics, economics, computer science, or other quantitative fields such as engineering/operations research, in an analytical, quantitative or technical role.
Strong human relations, communications and analytical skills.
More advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:
Experience in expanding conceptual inputs from senior leadership into actionable strategies & project plans.
Expertise in designing solutions for complex business issues which include a review & investigation of all risks & benefits.
Ability to identify new business opportunities through advanced analytical models, insights & market awareness
Experience in partnering with other business functions to develop & execute strategies, project plans and timelines.
Ability to work autonomously, self-manage workload, and adapt to changing priorities on a regular basis.
Participate in cross-functional/cross-regional projects to improve the pricing infrastructure across the entire enterprise.
Coordinate development of project plans and timelines with other team members throughout the world.
Ability to engineer end to end applications using process engineering techniques and software development paradigms (SDLC, BPM, waterfall, agile, etc.)
Expertise in business, marketing, pricing and revenue management analytics.
Solid understanding of quantitative and statistical approaches to business analysis related to revenue analytics and revenue optimization
Leverage prior experience with data analytics, modeling, and decision support software packages such as Excel, SAS, SQL, relational database management systems or online analytical processing tools.
Help develop tools and reports to track volume, revenue, yield, and profitability.
This position is currently located in Memphis, Tennessee; however, Lakeland, Florida, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Harrison, Arkansas, Plano, Texas, and Brookfield, Wisconsin will also be considered. Ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business needs. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs.
