Monitor, report on and analyze market and portfolio risk metrics, simulations, stress tests and strategies, involving the entire portfolio of investments, liabilities and derivatives. Analyze and monitor market and liquidity risk associated with investments, derivatives and insurance liabilities. Analyze, monitor and enhance stochastic value at risk, potential future exposure and credit value adjustment calculations for derivatives. Perform market risk calculations and reporting. Develop tools, models and processes to support the analysis of enterprise market risks. Maintain and validate modeling assumptions and calculations for different risk systems. Partner with ALM, Investments, Middle Office, Front Office and IT to meet objectives and build strong working relationships.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance or Statistics (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience analyzing, modeling and programming with quantitative technical tools in the financial industry. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section unless otherwise stated) -- must possess the following: performing market risk calculations and reporting, applying knowledge of financial instruments, including interest rate, FX and credit derivatives and fixed income assets; developing pricing/hybrid risk models, including Hull-White, CIR or LMM in Numerix CrossAsset or OneView with Numerix script programming skills (1 year); analyzing market risk and counterparty risk measures with different risk metrics, including Value at Risk, Potential Future Exposure, Credit Value Adjustment and Standard Initial Margin Model (1 year); and validating modeling assumptions using VBA, C++ or Python and Bloomberg (1 year).
