Job Summary: Under limited supervision, responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex and cross-functional project oriented work efforts. Frequently leads large project efforts, including taking responsibility for issue resolution across all phases of the software development lifecycle. Assists in the development of business cases, financial analysis, and all aspects of costing and managing project financials. Drafts and reviews documentation in compliance with the FedEx global development process, and ensures all project deliverables are in compliance with FedEx global development process. Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the department/organization. Provides mentoring for the development of those in less senior positions.
Job Specific Details:
Establish and oversee Tech and Business VDO cross coordination forum to enable value delivery of network transformation.
Track and elevate open items tied to operations common core technology projects
Set up structure and processes to ensure tracking, execution and cross functional collaboration of C4 programs
Support cross portfolio SPC through planning, communication and reporting.
Support Tech Sync meetings (topic coordination, assist in material preparation, track and elevate open items, etc.) and coordinate between different participants.
Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus:
Global Operations Technology or OpCo Operations / P&E experience
Experience in Enterprise Agile Enablement and Business Agility
Experience in Cross Portfolio Management/ Large Solution Delivery
Experience in using Agility tool (V1) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Spotfire
Knowledge of and experience in IT Governance - value delivery, strategic alignment, performance and resource mgt, risk mgt
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or business environment.
Domicile Location: Collierville, TN
Remote Work: This position can also be domiciled anywhere within the United States based on business needs.
Relocation: Relocation assistance may be provided based on business needs.
