Responsibilities:
* Work with intermediaries (Brokers, GA's, TPA's) and customers within an assigned territory
* Responsible for building strong partner relationships within the assigned territory and act as their liaison
* Focus on assigned block of business and identify opportunities for premium growth
* Provides initial training to Brokers/Customers on our EB360 platform
* Accountable for the end-to-end account management experience of assigned cases
* Oversees the renewal process for all cases within the assigned book of business and partners with the Sales Executive on strategy
* Respond to customer needs proactively.
* Provide management and project teams with updates on accounts and problem solve. Identify alternative solutions.
* Monitor opportunities and organize marketing plans to grow current membership or cross-sell other products.
* Understand benefit offerings of group insurance and policy language
* Provide excellent post-sale customer service and solve escalated issues
* Travel as needed to develop, build and maintain strong broker/consultant and client relationships
* Maintain up-to-date broker/client information on company applications, business plans and legal requirements
* Develop strong partnerships with sales, marketing, underwriting, billing, eligibility, claims and customer service
Qualifications
Skills required to ensure your success include:
Client Relationship Management: Knowledge of client relationship; ability to address issues critical issues to meet client needs and maintain engaged, partnering relationship with business partners and clients.
Effective Presentations: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques; ability to present information to groups with the appropriate degree of formality.
Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
Other Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree or 7+ years of equivalent work experience.
* Prior expertise in the insurance industry (sales, underwriting, operations). Understanding of employee benefits (life, dental, disability) and RFP process is required.
* Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills, also able to speak in front of groups.
* Must be self motivated, work both independently and as a team, and have strong desire to exceed goals.
* Life and Health License will be required within a specified timeframe
* Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
* Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Salesforce, Adobe)
