Our client, a leader in athletics and outdoor retailing, is growing their IT and technology presence. The Consumer Mobile team is working to leverage mobile technology to maximize the satisfaction and delight of their customers, while providing them the value they need in an efficient and high-impact manner. As a Jr. Mobile Developer, you'll work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to bring memorable mobile developers to market (both in stores and online).
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities of the Jr. Mobile Developer:
Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software applications for iOS devices
Support and/or install software applications/operating systems
Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software
Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Requirements of the Jr. Mobile Developer:
Computer science degree (preferred but not required) - recent graduates with internship and/or project experience will be considered
Right kind of attitude or enthusiasm
Swift 5+(baseline, solid foundation of understanding), Swift UI preferred
Experience with iOS mobile development technologies and platforms such as CoreData, Swiftlint, and XCTest
General understanding and experience with Reactive programming, MVVM architecture, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and JSON APIs
Ability to perform a brief coding challenge as part of the application process
