Job Summary This Senior Project Manager for Safety & Environmental Health will be responsible to:
Lead and oversee multiple projects or one larger project or high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
Serve as in-house project consultant to the administrative and clinical leadership of the hospital
Facilitate and coordinate analytical support to operational and clinical resource analysis and benchmarking initiatives and advises on issues related to process improvement and cost management.
Manage and oversee all phases of the projects from planning, development, revisions, dissemination to post-production of all NCPFCE products (print, digital, video, training presentations, and professional development institutes) across multiple platforms.
Develop, implement and manage product work plans that include scope, tasks, milestones, budget, management, requirements, constraints, costs and communication. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency, tracking project progress, identifying potential obstacles to advance with appropriate solutions.
Manage all proposed and approved changes to work plan.
Understanding and meeting expectations for deliverable quality and timelines and delivering project on time and within budget.
Support research and project management for Divisional or Institutional projects across all phases of the project life-cycle. Develop tools and processes and provide ongoing support.
Assist junior-level staff in developing realistic goals and monitor ongoing development
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration or related field. Min of 5-7 yrs of relevant experience is required.
A Master's degree preferred and related 2 years of experience with rL Solutions, understanding of Occupational Health/Environmental Health and Safety, managing multiple highly complex projects
Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification is preferred.
The ability to effectively manage multiple demands and projects and/or proposals simultaneously within assigned department/division and to persuade and negotiate with peer‑level department heads and/or with external agencies/facilities on issues and programs that impact assigned department as well as several other large departments/divisions.
Advanced knowledge of PC-based software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, rL Solutions) and manual and web-based applications for collecting/reporting data.
Preferred experience using rL solutions software with an understanding of how to develop, implement and manage an employee injury reporting program. Preferred knowledge of how occupational health and environmental health and safety programs function.
