POSITION PURPOSE (Summary):
This position is responsible to represent Family Health West in various community medical clinics & hospitals & serve as the Business Development Representative. Represents Family Health West service lines to promote the referral of patients to our organization & help to ensure appropriate referrals to our hospital swing bed rehab program. Responsible for planning, organizing & coordinating a physician, medical center & hospital relations program for Family Health West with the objective of maintaining a favorable image to the community & increasing referrals to FHW service lines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Reliable and punctual attendance is essential; expected to be at job as scheduled each
scheduled day.
2. Communicate necessary information to others as appropriate.
3. Create a prioritized list of focus medical facilities to market to.
4. Set schedule of clinic & hospital visits for distribution of appropriate literature & provide education to sites for appropriate referrals.
5. Provide education to other hospitals about the FHW swing bed rehab program to improve appropriate referrals.
6. Responsible for communicating closely with FHW clinics & hospital admissions coordinators for efficient and timely communication for exceptional customer experience.
7. Regularly monitor the reputation of FHW & proactively address any concerns from providers, referral sources or administration to continually improve the customer experience.
8. Identify high referral resources & target any low referral sources to increase referral rates to FHW.
9. Meet every week with at least 10 different low referral sources to increase the referral rate to FHW.
10. Monitor referrals throughout FHW to determine the success of referral campaigns, ensuring an increase of referrals from outside sources.
11. Collaborate with Physician Services, Executive Leadership & Marketing to develop
communication campaigns to drive referrals to FHW clinics.
12. Other job related duties as assigned.

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Public Relations or related medical field preferred.
Licenses No professional license required.
Certifications No professional certification required.
Experience 2 - 4 years of Public Relations/Sales experience preferred.
WAGE RANGE = $22.32 - $31.88.
