Who are we looking for:
State Street seeks to recruit a Cybersecurity Analyst that will serve in an operational capacity across many aspects of the cyber program including but not limited to cyber fusion, SOC, vulnerability management, DLP, risk assessment and cyber control integration. The role is focused on the Charles River Development (CRD) subsidiary. Join us in evolving our cyber capabilities to shape a pro-active threat intelligence driven fusion model to protect State Street, its customers and partners from the ever evolving and sophisticated global threat actors. Remote work options will be considered for the highly skilled candidates.
What will you be responsible for:
- Analyzing cyber risk and applying risk reduction methods by working with IT, the business and security control groups. Guiding and driving the implementation of risk mitigation activities across a broad range of cyber subject matter.
- Threat Detection & Response - working with SOC analysts and management to triage and respond to security alerts. Coordinate assessment, containment and eradication with the Incident Response team. Tuning of preventative and detective security controls to increase fidelity and reduce false positives.
- Vulnerability Management - Ensure vulnerabilities are remediated according to firm standards. Drive penetration test finding remediation.
- DLP - Augment the DLP triage and investigation teams. Work with engineering and governance teams to tune and introduce new preventative and detective DLP rules.
- Security control assessment, introduction and enhancement.
- Creating and maintaining operational procedures, standards & guidelines.
What we value:
- Ability to conduct investigations in a lead capacity and report findings to leadership.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
- Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).
- Knowledge of IT architecture and operations (computing, network, storage & cloud).
- Knowledge of security control technologies
- Experience partnering with auditors and regulators
- Clear and concise communication - verbal and written
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- BS in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant experience
- +5 years in a cyber security operations or analytic function
- +3 years in a cyber security skill role -Incident Response, SOC Tier 3 Analyst, Threat Hunter, Penetration testing, etc.
Additional Requirements
- Technical security certifications
- Financial Services experience a plus.
- Software development and/or scripting experience a plus: Python, Powershell, etc.
