The Operational Excellence Analyst will work with the Operational Excellence project teams to deliver solutions to improve Operational Maturity, greater efficiencies and more effective decision making throughout the Bank.
The analyst will be responsible for capturing, retaining and communicating information for each project. They will use the data gathered to make recommendations and work with the stakeholders and project teams to identify solutions and opportunities for improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Identification and development of process improvements
Information organization, analysis and visualization
Enablement of employee education of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies
Assist with the implementation of improvements identified in Operational Excellence Initiatives
Enable teams to capture, retain and utilize data that informs the organization of how processes are performing
Engage with stakeholders around the Bank to gather and aggregate information relevant to Operational Excellence projects
Update and maintain team Communication plan
Update and maintain metrics/reporting related to Operational Excellence Initiatives
Develop process flows and business architecture documentation
Experience & Education Requirements
Bachelor degree required
MBA or other advance degree a plus
Two to four years of experience in analytics or consulting role preferably in Financial Services
Experience in Project Management, analysis (qualitative and quantitative) or process improvement
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors Required
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills to help understand the business needs and the systems where data is available
Comfortable interacting and cultivating relationships with peers and all levels of management
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills, including ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently effectively
Ability to develop robust workflows and process to reliably support the business
Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies desired
Experience participating in or leading organizational change efforts a plus
