The Firm has an opening for a full-time Systems Administrator in the Firm’s Indianapolis office. The Firm has developed an optional 3-2 hybrid work schedule where employees are expected to work from the Indianapolis office at least three days per week and may opt to work from home up to two days per week.
The Opportunity
This position will focus on deployment and management of software delivery technologies, primarily Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), formerly Microsoft Intune, as we migrate from on-prem System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and use best practices to create efficiencies, improve user experience, and manage risk on 180+ devices across 11 cities.
Candidates should also expect to provide technical support in the evaluation, installation, and monitoring of a distributed computing environment. As part of the IT team, candidate will be expected to interface with Firm users in the identification and resolution of computer system software problems as well as other daily support issues. They also should expect to participate in the development and maintenance of release management controls and standard installation and upgrade methodologies; identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve efficiency, performance, and overall service; resolve inter-product dependencies; and prioritize and coordinate problem resolutions across the Firm, escalating as needed.
Essential Job Duties
- Computer Science or similar IT degree is preferred.
- 2+ years of work experience with system management software required, preferably MEM or SCCM
- Experience with PowerShell, VBScript, AutoIt or other scripting languages required
- Commitment to customer service and willingness to learn new products and technologies.
- Excellent trouble shooting skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server queries, a plus
