Position Summary:Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Purchasing Card Management and Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting the administration and management of the purchasing card program, foreign operations, and treasury operations.
- Assist with purchasing card program administration, including support to cardholders and budget administrators and account maintenance, as well as address changes, budget allocation changes, card limit changes, lost and/or stolen cards, and card cancellations.
- Assess and execute requests for release of purchasing card blocks for select purchases
- Assist with monthly purchasing card training
- Maintain files with documentation and cardholder history, including approved credit limit, purchasing card application and cardholder agreement.
- Compile and assist with preparation of various purchasing card reports, including departmental and cardholder usage, volume, and trends.
- Assist with investment administration, including executing capital calls and redemptions
- Maintain and report changes in private equity investment funds
- Analyze the Paris bank account activities in euros, including journal entries and related follow-up and resolution of open items.
- Assist with the accounting and reporting of John's Paris Association.
- Assist with the quarterly preparation of the VAT (i.e., consumption tax) return for John's Paris Association.
- Assist with fiscal year-end Rome LLC financial statements by preparing supporting schedules and completing footnote disclosures.
- Assist with monthly cash flow forecasts
- Assist with treasury operations, as necessary
- Assist with monitoring and administering foreign currency needs
- Recommend and implement procedures to improve the efficiency of assigned areas
- Recruit, train, and supervise student workers
- Perform other related duties and special projects as may become necessary
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- 2 to 5 years of related experience
- Must possess excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Successfully demonstrated ability to set priorities and work on multiple tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and eager to learn and be challenged
- Demonstrates positive attitude
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
