RiverSource has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Systems Analyst! The Senior Business Systems Analyst will be part of our Life Insurance Product Development team supporting the implementation of new product initiatives and enforce enhancements. This role acts as the liaison between product development group and business partners, and technology to implement projects and complete required testing. This position is located in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

• Being an Insurance Products subject matter expert on implementation and inforce enhancement projects of all Life insurance products and riders including involvement in requirement gathering.
• Own and maintain sophisticated Excel projection tools for new product initiatives or inforce enhancements. This includes collaborating with the pricing group, illustrations, and technology to update tools in order to accommodate testing needs for all initiatives and enhancements.
• Assist with the design and issue resolution for new products and riders.
• Lead representative for Insurance Products in test planning development and review

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• 5+ years of proven experience
• Experience in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel (including Visual Basic knowledge) and Access
• Strong technical skills with the ability to analyze data using spreadsheets/database
• Ability to understand and apply technology as it relates to the business
• Excellent communications, technical and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of the life insurance and financial services industries
