In compliance with applicable New York and New Jersey State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination (2 doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) is mandatory for all MSK employees, contingent workers, and volunteers. Exceptions are permitted for those employees who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster five months after receiving the second dose of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two months after the J&J vaccine.
Job Description
Are you motivated by the idea of improving the lives of patients with cancer and supporting the work for those who provide their care?
We Are:
We are looking for a Systems Analyst, Radiation Oncology to provide support for a variety of applications, including ARIA, Mosaiq, Darwin and IDB as well as basic PC and hardware support to users, including MS Office support, issues with laptops, printing, scanning, etc.
You Will:
- Evaluate user needs and coordinate the ordering process for new equipment and software.
- In consultation with the Manager of Radiation Oncology, design, develop, test, implement and maintain SQL Server based applications.
- Interact with users to design efficient applications for their specific needs.
- Formalize the capture and presentation of departmental statistics. Using data from a variety of departmental and institutional sources create a set of daily, weekly, monthly, annual reports that will address the needs of each departmental area of concern (clinical areas, administrative, physics, nursing, etc).
- Maintain an accurate inventory of PC's, printers, scanners, laptops, etc and coordinate future equipment refreshes, upgrades, updates.
You Need:
- Proficiency working with SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems; MS SQL Server; MS Access
- The ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously within time constraints and with strong attention to detail and quality
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
You Have:
- knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals preferred
- Basic Knowledge of Tableau a plus
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
