Provide input and guide the business unit on determining the best solutions and system requirements for their specific needs. Provide support to projects as it relates to business requirements and technology. Assist with test plan development and execution. Communicate implementation & technology related information to the business, while providing guidance to determine system requirements and the best solution. Design, test & debug applications with assistance from others.
Responsibilities - Process and resolve routine and less complex problems for the business as it relates to business requirements and technology.
- Trouble-shoot and resolve routine and less-complex problems for the business unit in day-to-day operations.
- Support projects in identifying routine business requirements, project, and process specifications within identified team.
- Create and test applications, as well as trouble-shoot and resolve routine and less-complex problems for the business as it relates to business requirements and technology.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with business, operations and technology team members.
Required Qualifications - 1 to 3 years relevant work experience
- General understanding of the business unit and the ability to understand technology as it relates to the business.
- Ability to provide accurate, timely & responsive services to the business unit (have a sense of urgency).
- Ability to establish & maintain strong relationships within the business and technolgy partners.
- Strong understanding of one or more applications within platform (both insurance and annuities)
- Ability to reprioritize quickly to get work done.
Preferred Qualifications - Strong knowledge of the heritage systems (VTG)
- Strong coaching abilities
- Ability to shift focus quickly as priorities change
- Ability to think strategically and understand the difference between long and short term priorities
- Demonstrated success working in a highly collaborative environment with ability to lead
