The system programmer II is responsible for the coding and/or designing of websites and applications per specifications. This role will work closely with both technical and non-technical staff in defining business and technical requirements. They will be responsible for front end development and back end development using a variety of languages, tools, and technologies.
Provides technical and programming software support to enable efficient and reliable availability of mainframe computers, mini-computers and microcomputers supported by the department. Functions as a project leader ; responsible for planning, analyzing and designing new computer programs and processes. This position will commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following IT Security Polices and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
Salary Range: $60,835 - $98,855
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.
