This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and analysis of business units. This position will have heavy interaction with the accounting team and provide overall financial support to organization. This individual will work directly with the CFO on a variety of analytical review of projects including the review of strategic plans, M&A, and DCFs for capital proposals. We are seeking someone who is motivated to improve processes by analyzing data and driving automation. This candidate must have excellent communication and Excel skills.
Produce monthly management reports and KPIs. Analyze financial figures and present them in a succinct manner.
Conduct and provide variance analysis; provide recommendations to improve the ROS/ROA
Monitor and evaluate individual department expenses and identify trends to assist in cost control
Participate in the forecasting process, closely collaborate with various departments
Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile, analyze, and ensure accuracy of overall financial reporting
Use storytelling skills to translate financials into valuable insights and recommendations
Drive the annual budgeting process; implement process improvements including new planning and reporting tools
Provide ad-hoc analysis and presentations for management; present data in a clear manner to help the team develop conclusions and make business decisions
Engage in the M&A process; assess opportunities and stay abreast of the market
Review product development and capital requests, perform payback models and scenario analyses.
Manage our financial reporting system, Microsoft Management Reporter (MR). Develop, train, and maintain reports using MR and PowerBI.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years accounting experience, understating of US GAAP accounting
Experience utilizing an ERP system; Microsoft D365 preferred
Strong report building skills, experience with Management Reporter (FRX) and PowerBI preferred
Strong communication and analytical skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office, VBA preferred
