Compensation: $75,800 - $96,500 (depending on experience)
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) at the University of Minnesota seeks an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to support and grow our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and reporting environment.
This position will be primarily focused on enhancing and maintaining the data models (conceptual, logical and physical) for the University’s enterprise data systems. This position will primarily be focused on supporting and enhancing our Enterprise Data Warehouse environment using the Oracle Analytic Server (OAS) and Oracle Analytic Cloud (OAC). Ideal candidates will have excellent technical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team and independently.

Work within the Analytics Development team, partnering with project development teams, business resources and IT peers to enhance the stability and performance of our Analytics environment.
Enhance, test, debug and deploy code to our Oracle OAS & OAC and Tableau systems .
Develop Oracle Semantic end user facing layers using Oracle RPD
Work with software administrators to configure and troubleshoot our Oracle Analytics environment
Support and enhance internally developed reporting and analytical applications.
Participate in system and application upgrades.
Stay informed of current reporting technologies and trends, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and services.

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience supporting an enterprise reporting environment.
Experience supporting an enterprise Data Warehouse environment. Oracle OAS or OAC preferred
Ability to analyze and create complex SQL code.
Experience with Oracle databases and PeopleSoft data.
Experience with Tableau support and development
Experience in scaling and optimizing schemas, performance tuning SQL and ETL pipelines in OLTP, OLAP and data warehouse environments.
Familiarity/experience with troubleshooting applications on Linux (any Shell Scripting experience) and Windows Server.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL environment.
Experience integrating structured/unstructured data from multiple data sources (Using Python, Scala or Java).
