As the project manager, you will support the search and hiring process for executives who report directly to the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs. In this role, you will work with high-level candidates, our leadership and search firms and be in direct contact with individuals who shape our mission and strategic goals. You will handle matters of a confidential nature, requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies and practices. You will report to the Provost's Special Counsel.
Use your detailed project management skills to support full cycle executive searches with a focus on tasks such as timeline management, preparing for committee meetings and candidate itineraries.
Manage complex searches involving many stakeholders across a large, decentralized institution; requires a diplomatic mindset.
Provide support for projects within our office such as staffing committees and supporting provost committees.
Coordinate internal and external participants for searches.
Use survey tools, such as Qualtrics, to gather, analyze and report on data.
Optimize your workflow through trend identification and effective problem solving.
Create correspondences including editing and proofreading.
Approve expenses and maintain financial records using our expense tracking system.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of related experience in higher education administration or executive-level recruiting.
Knowledge and practical application of project management best practices.
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HR systems of record, Drop Box, Zoom, Expense Reporting systems, Survey tools and Google collaboration tools.
Experience interpreting and implementing organizational policies and procedures.
