Amwins Program Underwriters (APU) is a Managing General Agency specializing in affinity and program management. For over a quarter century, APU has built a reputation of developing and maintaining programs for a variety of niche markets that provide broad-based insurance solutions. Today, APU administers 30 programs generating in excess of $380 million in premium. Also, as an Amwins Group company, we are part of the largest independent wholesale insurance brokerage in the country.
Amwins Program Underwriters is seeking up to two Summer interns for its Camp Hill, PA location. Interns will be trained and participate in the risk analysis and pricing process for one of our current programs, while also participating in assigned project work and receiving an introduction to the other programs currently underwritten in our Camp Hill location. Internship program will run from May 2022 to August 2022.

Internship at Amwins Qualifications
Enrolled at an accredited 4-year college or university
Pursuing a degree with a major in Insurance & Risk Management, Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, Math or Statistics.
Anticipated graduation in either Fall/Winter of 2022 or Spring 2023.
Recommended GPA of 3.0 or above
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired personal qualities include: resourceful, hard-working, goal-orientated, inquisitive
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
