Job Summary This Development Coordinator, Gift Planning will:
Assist in developing, growing, and managing aspects of the Gift Planning program with emphasis on maximizing revenue and building long-term relationships for the future.
Collaborate with Direct Marketing team to coordinate marketing schedule and confirm optimal marketing opportunities. May serve as liaison with external vendors to coordinate marketing activities and materials. Responsible for program logistics and follow-up.
Interface with third party advisors, including estate attorneys, financial planners, and CPA's in order to expand network of support for BCH.
Interact with donors and prospects and handles donor calls as appropriate or directed.
Manages relevant database inputs, gift processing, maintenance and data reconciliations.
Writes, drafts and edits letters, agreements, proposals, articles, reports, acknowledgements, case materials, briefings and donor correspondences for hospital, as appropriate.
Provides guidance and training to other development staff.
In order to qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of previous experience in development, business, legal, finance, healthcare or related field.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and interaction skills.
The ability to be self-motivated, take initiative, and demonstrate a high level of responsiveness to inquiries and other requests.
Strong analytical skills, consistent attention to detail and advanced multi-tasking abilities.
Strong technical skills in general software programs (MS Office) and the ability to develop proficiency in specific database management systems.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule with an on-site requirement of six days per month.
