Our Financial Actuaries are on the frontlines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIG’s major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. Portfolio Analytics and Pricing Actuaries support AIG’s businesses and are responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics and performance measurement. They collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Financial Management.

Actuarial Development Program – The Program encourages and supports the education and training of Actuarial Students pursuing actuarial examinations in the knowledge and professional skills relating to actuarial practices and to develop future leaders for AIG. Benefits of the program include:
Dedicated study time – Up to 30 hours of company-provided study time per exam hour for each first attempt at a given exam
Exam-related expenses, including study material
Association Meetings for Conferral of Designation
Professional Actuarial Association Membership Dues
Rotations (following the actuarial program) – We are excited to provide a variety of professional opportunities for Actuarial Students to develop an advanced and well-rounded actuarial skillset following their 2 years with us in the Actuarial Development Program. Actuarial Students will gain valuable work experience through exposure to multiple rotations. Upon completion of the Actuarial Development Program and further rotations, the newly credentialed actuaries will have gained a variety of relevant work experiences enabling them to have a broader organizational perspective
