University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ('UEC') supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We're responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Temporary, 'non-exempt', full time, benefited position through 9/30/2023 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $4833.00-$6416.00 per month

The CAE in Cybersecurity (CAE-C) Community National Center grant is administered through California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB). Focused on the development of a robust cybersecurity workforce, the CAE Community National Center will offer three primary functions to the 390+ CAE-C institutions and projects: Provides technical and logistical support for CAE events, activities, and curriculum. Provides a portal of CAE resources for the community, geographic regions, and the Nation as a whole. Engages and facilitates strategic initiatives for the Nation in the areas of research, student and faculty development, diversity, and other workforce development activities
40 hours per week. Schedule to be arranged, but typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm though some nights, weekend work may be required.

Under minimal supervision of the Cybersecurity Center Director, the Assessment Analyst will work independently to:
Liaison with the CAE-C Program Office, CAE National Centers and Regional Hubs, and the CAE in Cybersecurity
Community to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, and new initiatives; travel as needed
Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
6Connex platform expert- including but not limited to running two Virtual career Fairs annually through, recruitment
of vendors, speakers and participants, building virtual booths, working with 6Connex team to negotiate contracts
and hire periodic contact support.
Collect and evaluate information for quarterly reports; ensure that regulations and guidelines for reports are met
Creates reports, records, and other documents, per assigned area, with clarity, completeness, accuracy, timeliness
Prepare, process, and forward reports and/or documents to the grant sponsor
Works with the regional coordinator to facilitate workshops, online and in-person meetings, and other events as needed
Conducts or assists with training sessions/workshops
Accepts, audits, reviews, secures and maintains the CAE Community files
Prepare and assist in dissemination of material for publications, translation, typesetting
Maintain and manually and/or electronically updates a variety of data for specific assignment
Resolves technical problems to improve procedural methods, equipment performance, and quality of product for
specific area assigned
Assist and participate in special research, studies, surveys, and investigations; assist and participate in the
compilation, tabulation, and analysis of information and data
Attend divisional and departmental staff meetings; prepare reports of suggestions and comments on observations
regarding the various aspects of the department and program
Assist and participate in the preparation of briefs, reports, evaluations, specifications, and plans
Other duties as assigned
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent AND equivalent to three (3) years of experience in general office administrative and clerical work
Applicants must have experience using standard office software programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Applicants must have knowledge and experience in government-funded grant management.
Applicants must have working experience with the 6Connex platform
Applicants must have previous experience working within the CAE-C Community
Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities is essential
Ability to review documents for accuracy, completeness, validity, and adherence to guidelines
The ability to read and interpret contracts is essential
Applicants must have the ability to accurately maintain records and files
Applicants must have strong organizational skills, be very detail-oriented, along with the ability to follow directions, take initiative, be flexible, have the ability to multi-task, and independently make decisions on a day-to-day basis
Applicants must have demonstrated the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Applicants must have the ability to draft and compose correspondence
Must be able to work in a diverse team environment and possess excellent customer service skills
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience working directly with students
Experience maintaining records and documentation
Experience in cybersecurity education
