The Treasury Analyst, reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance & Treasurer, works as an integral member of the Treasurerâ™s team and is responsible for supporting the financial decision-making and administration of all areas within Treasury Services, which include Treasury Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Student & Parent Loan Programs.
The Treasury Analyst will work with colleagues within the Treasurerâ™s organization, the broader Financial Services division, Real Estate, as well as various campus partners to provide the Treasurer with timely and accurate analytics and reporting. As such, the Treasury Analyst will need to develop a comprehensive understanding of the Universityâ™s strategic planning and institutional goals and how they relate to the administration and operation of areas within Treasury Services and vice versa. This will require the Treasury Analyst to develop a very strong knowledge base of the critical functions within Treasury Services, to and including becoming highly proficient in utilizing proprietary models and tools and the Universityâ™s enterprise financial system (Workday), developing an in-depth understanding of the Internal Bank and the Treasurerâ™s Investment Pool and its components, educational loan programs, and analytics in support of the insurance and risk management programs, among others.
The Treasury Analyst will partner with members of the Treasurerâ™s team and other internal stakeholders to produce board-level and C-suite presentation materials.
Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Preparematerials, reporting,andanalyses for use bythe Treasurer and other members of leadership and senior management.Â
Develop an in-depth understanding of the Treasurerâ™s Investment Pool, Universityâ™s internal bank/loan programs, Student and Parent Loan programs, Insurance & Risk Management and Universityâ™s debt issuance process.
Support the development and maintenance of proprietary models, including those designed to support the Treasurerâ™s Investment Pool, internal bank, debt programs, balance sheet models, credit models, among others.
Assist in the Universityâ™s debt issuance for capital market activities, as well as rating agency deliverables.
In collaboration with colleagues in Student & Parent Loan Programs, the Treasury Analyst will support analytics and reporting for the Universityâ™s educational and institutional loan programs, including the forecasting and variance analysis in assessing health and viability throughout any term.
In collaboration with the Insurance & Risk Management area support variance analyses for the programs, budget derivation and reserve analysis.
Develop proficiency in the utilization of the Universityâ™s enterprise financial system, Workday.
Special Projects which may include initiatives that support the Universityâ™s banking services initiatives, strategic planning, debt and liquidity planning, partnership with Real Estate, and other special initiatives important to the institutionâ™s goals as assigned by the Treasurer.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Treasurer.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorâ™s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related quantitative area.
Higher education or corporate treasury experience is preferred.
Progress towards CFA or CPA a plus.
High attention to detail.
Knowledge of accountingconcepts and practices and strong quantitative aptitude.

Required Qualifications
Bachelorâ™s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, economics or related field with five years of professional experience in accounting/budget/finance or MBA or MS in Finance or related field with three years of professional experience in accounting/budget/finance.

Salary Range
$63,900.00 - $109,100.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
