Who we are looking for State Street Global Technology Operations (GTO) - Bionics is seeking a skilled and proven Business/Data Analyst, Assistant Vice President. The individual contributor in this role will architect, design and develop multiple solutions as part of the Bionics SEALs team. The candidate will be required to have a proven track record of delivery of technically advanced solutions in support of multiple, simultaneous initiatives which span multiple disciplines and business lines. The candidate ideally should have a solid understanding of the existing State Street business, application and infrastructure environment, and be able to investigate and apply new methods of data analysis and visualizations.
What you will be responsible for As a Business/Data Analyst - Bionics SEALs Team, Assistant Vice President, you will
Lead the business, process, and data analysis of complex data and visualization projects.
Consult with business unit management as needed to analyze requirements asking probing questions to ensure the real needs are surfaced and understood.
Evaluates multiple solutions and collaborate to identify the optimal analytical solution to fit within existing technologies and comply with the overall strategic direction.
Provides subject matter expertise of key State Street production processes and controls, operations, and relevant State Street.
Ensures clear and concise expression of decisions to peers, development, business teams, and senior IT management.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
8+ years of proven experience.
Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex datasets in varying formats to validate completeness, integrity, and accuracy of data, determine the root cause of any data-related issues, identify opportunities for data management improvements, and to produce clear and compelling reports for different audiences. This includes strong excel skills.
Ability to create visual models that support analyses, such as workflow diagrams or wireframe prototypes.
Demonstrated experience working in an environment managing multiple, concurrent deliverables with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
Results-oriented ownership mentality.
Strong technology insights with demonstrated ability to work across business lines.
Related skills such as visualization (Tableau), machine learning, analytic models, data mining, and big data (Hadoop, Apache stack) are a plus.
Prior work experience in a financial company is a plus.
