DEAN MED-CONTINUOUS QUALITY IM (IN-DCQI-IUINA)
This position will work closely with department Director and appropriate stakeholders as a project manager who applies industry standard best practices, tools, and methodologies in the coordination of initiatives from concept to completion. This includes using appropriate project management and tracking tools to develop and implement plans, timelines, and processes that measure, track and report the progress of all phases of the reaccreditation preparation in alignment with the identified goals, objectives, and associated deadlines.
Maintains primary responsibility for all documentation associated with the self-study, submissions for the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME), and other accreditation related documents.
Works with Director and communications generalist to develop and support the accreditation communications plan.
Collaborates with the accreditation team and IUSM community and supports any requested task designed to prepare for and complete IUSM's reaccreditation initiative.
Works with leadership to prioritize the delivery of services.
Identifies opportunities for new collaborations.
Develops workflows/processes to organize the compilation, editing, and updating of the LCME data and documentation, including the Data Collection Instrument, Appendices, Glossary, Institutional Self-Study Summary Report and other requested submissions and documents. This includes managing the creation and maintenance of tracking systems to provide database status reports to leadership.
Assists the Director and Executive Associate Dean (EAD) with the final preparation of all materials, including editing and proofing, and assure timely delivery of materials to the survey team members and to the LCME.
Uses appropriate project management and tracking tools to develop and implement plans, timelines, and processes that track and report the progress of goals, objectives, and deadlines of the self-study process.
Uses appropriate project management and tracking tools to develop and implement plans, timelines, and processes that track and report the progress of goals, objectives, and deadlines of the mock survey visit.
Uses appropriate project management and tracking tools to develop and implement plans, timelines, and processes that track and report the progress of goals, objectives, and deadlines of the preparation for the LCME survey team site visit.
Uses appropriate project management and tracking tools to develop and implement plans, timelines, and processes that track and report the progress of goals, objectives, and deadlines for the LCME survey team site visit.
Manages large projects of the most complex nature, from start to finish, ensuring on time completion within budget.
Analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics and shortfalls.
Communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance; supervises and trains project staff as needed.
Develops and maintains project schedules, goals, and communication.
Matrix manages teams to develop, evaluate, and revise project processes.
Collaborates with other departments to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames.
Participates in client meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications.
Provides guidance and support to less experienced peers.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Master's degree in relevant field

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This is temporary 2.5 year assignment.
