As part of the critical Platform Engineering team you will be responsible for Open Systems Scheduling interface engineering, with emphasis on security, reliability engineering, capacity planning and performance. This position will take the lead in analyzing, designing, developing and implementing the technology, then driving those projects to completion. You will be a leader responsible for working with the Business Unit core teams, Operations, and IT, to ensure high levels of data quality, integrity, privacy, availability, security and usability and adherence to Corporate policies and procedures. This position reports to the Scheduling tower lead, is remote and based in the U.S.
What you will be responsible for As Sr Application Developer you will
Manager of complex technical projects to support both engineering and Infrastructure Operations activities
Coordinate cross-departmental events affecting the Infrastructure Operations department
Produce performance reports for management
Provide technical leadership and training to the Infrastructure Operations technical staff
Business expert who assists users in defining needs
Devises or modify procedures to solve complex business problems considering system limitations and capacity
Provide training and guidance for junior level personnel.
