The State University of New York at Fredonia is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month, Programmer Analyst position (SL2) on the Information Technology Services Enterprise Reporting and Development Team.

Reporting to the Manager of Enterprise Reporting & Development, the successful candidate will:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, modify and document forms and workflow as assigned using current campus solutions such as Dot Net Nuke (DNN), .Net Web Forms, OnBase, and AdobeSign).
Migrate legacy MS Access applications to new form and workflow environment with SQL Server back end.
Assist in evaluation, documenting, supporting, debugging, testing and improving business systems as assigned.
Become familiar with Fredonia's integration between Oracle, SQL Server, AD and Google for account and group membership management.
This position will be key for supporting the Finance and Administration division and Human Resources office for programming and reporting.
Participate in committees and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession;
Be aware of, understand, and follow all university policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field plus 1 year professional experience in an IT environment.
Demonstrated web development experience using HTML, CSS and Javascript.
Working familiarity with Windows desktop and Server OS.
Working familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Access and Excel.
Demonstrated analytical skills relative to project business requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are a must.
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and students; individually and as part of a team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SQL and database queries including query development.
Experience with SQL Server 2014-19, SQL Server Management Studio, T-SQL, database development, writing of stored procedures and functions.
Familiar with Database development in a RDBMS such as MySQL, MS SQL, and Oracle.
Familiar with web accessibility standards and testing tools.
Experience developing and content management in DNN portal.
Familiarity with XML and JSON.
Familiarity with REST web services and other asynchronous web services.
Familiarity with Web API service integration using XML & JSON data sources.
Familiarity with Visual Basic scripting, especially VBA (Visual Basic for Applications).
Professional experience in a higher education IT environment.
Interest in, and commitment to, community engagement.

This is a full-time, term appointed, SL2, UUP represented position beginning January 2023.
