CFC has an opportunity for a Director, IT Operations who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure operations and engineering to ensure business continuity, integrity, and efficiency. This role is responsible for IT infrastructure, database management, telecom services and digital workplace engineering as well as overall data center management. The Director collaborates with and across the IT team leaders and business operations in order to ensure the secure delivery of business services.
As a Director, IT Operations, you will: • Lead a management team that includes IT infrastructure, database operations, windows engineering and infrastructure architecture. • Oversee the IT Operations of two data centers and all hosted systems including 24x7x365 systems’ monitoring, alert response, incident management and communications. • Oversee and be accountable for business continuity planning and environment management. • Administer the implementation and maintenance of Cybersecurity monitoring, control and protection infrastructure. • Work collaboratively and efficiently with the Help Desk team to ensure technical troubleshoots are resolved in timely manner. • Accountable for Infrastructure Engineering, Database Engineering, and Desktop and Mobile device engineering of new solutions and operational administration of existing systems. • Develop and manage relationships with third party service providers. • Ensure the alignment of the IT infrastructure and operations with business operations and business systems development. • Develop, train and effectively lead the IT operations team.
To be successful, you will need: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred. • A minimum of 10 years of core IT operations experience. • Experience working in the financial sector preferred (e.g. credit union, thrift or finance company). • Expert understanding of the operation of high availability data centers and business platforms. • Demonstrated skill in business and technology needs assessment and communications. • Advanced verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong management, leadership and coaching abilities. • Expertise to anticipate technology risks and opportunities as well as proactively provide solutions as those situations arise. • Subject matter expertise and leadership in infrastructure engineering, application development and data management. • Advanced knowledge of business technology best practices and industry trends. • Expertise with Cloud integration including Platform as a Service and Software as a Service experience. • Expertise in building strong relationships with team, colleagues and business partners.
