The Role: Senior Analyst, International Tax The Grade/Level: (relevant for internal applicants only) 10 The Location: Colorado, US Virtual
The impact: S&P Global is seeking a high performing and efficient international tax senior analyst to support the tax department function with duties related to global income tax compliance, financial reporting, and global tax planning.
An international tax technical knowledge base and related practical experience is a preferred skill set for the role. The position will report to and work closely with the existing international tax team in order to successfully and efficiently meet and exceed tax department objectives.
Responsibilities:
70% US international tax compliance
15% tax provision related activities; and
15% global tax planning.
Annually prepare international related US Federal income tax compliance forms (primarily forms 5471, 5472, 8858, 8865, 8990, 8991, 8992 & 1118) including the supporting E&P and foreign tax credit calculations in collaboration with center of excellence team members
Assist with international aspects of tax provision reporting
Assist with developing and executing global tax planning strategies.
What We're Looking For :
Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field required.
Advanced degree in Tax a plus, but not required.
2 - 5 years of applicable, practical tax experience.
2+ years with big four accounting firm, preferred but not required.
Eager to learn and highly motivated.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to organize and maintain a large volume of information.

For work locations in the state of Colorado, the anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,800 to $108,100. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.
