Job Description: What We're Looking For
The Prospect Management & Analytics/Applications Analyst reports to the Associate Director of Prospect Management.This position is responsible for understanding the philanthropic endeavors of the University Advancement Systems division of University Advancement and employing a calibrated, analytical approach to delivering high quality portfolio management procedures providing thorough support to front-line/field staff members and leading data analytics efforts for prospect management. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
Understanding/use of database systems and advancement applications such as Campus ESP and EverTrue
Ability to bring innovative ideas to the workplace
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to learn quickly and feel comfortable with new and changing technologies
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact and work well with others
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Proficiency in data visualization software such as Tableau and PowerBI
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Ability to comply with University policies
Be successful communicating and interacting with all campus populations including students, faculty, and staff.
A bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required. Five years of relevant work experience are preferred. Hybrid/Remote work will be considered on a case-by-case basis for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Facilitates the prospect identification and qualification processes for prospect assignments on referrals (internal and external) and through the systematic oversight of daily giving list and various reports in donor database (BlackBaud CRM), by way of conducting initial prospect research and wealth/capacity screenings.
Regularly reviews prospect pipeline and portfolio assignments, focusing on the prospect lifecycle to ensure that appropriate moves management practices are in place.
Works with front-line staff to ensure that contact records are kept current and accurate in the system to support accurate data output.
Creates and maintains PM process documents and provides training and support to development officers as needed on data management/entry best practices in Vision
Assists Prospect Manager with various moves management, tracking and reporting tasks as needed.
Develop specialized data analysis to aid in prioritization and segmentation of donor prospects
Identify data and application needs associated with prospect management and provide recommendations on application development/enhancement.
Work with parent philanthropy team to broaden and enhancement the use of parent data using tools/applications such as Campus ESP and EverTrue
Work with Senior Director of Prospect Management and Advancement Applications to identity needed enhancements to donor database (BBCRM)
Additionally, this position would support the mission of the University by:
Identifying relevant data and tools to create accurate reports and other deliverables
Interpreting data and analyze results using statistical techniques; interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Participating in thorough testing and validation efforts
Conducting research regarding issues or opportunities based on data
Reviewing, analyze and recommend strategies based on data
Assisting with database cleanup and data analytics projects
Assisting in the development of policies and procedures related to data and reporting
Ensuring timely and accurate results of data
Preparing and analyze reports as needed
Performing all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
